LAUREN JELENCOVICH  is a singer who is best known for her performances as Yanni’s featured vocalist on his world tour. She has garnered great acclaim for her portrayals of opera roles and musical theatre characters throughout the United States and abroad and can be seen and heard on Yanni’s DVDs, CDs, and PBS Specials, including Yanni: Live at El Morro! She is featured on his latest album, Inspirato, singing the song Usignolo (Nightingale) alongside artists Plácido Domingo and Renée Fleming. She made her Off-Broadway debut in The Music Teacher, written by Wallace Shawn, and appeared at Opera Theatre of St. Louis in A Little Night Music, directed by Isaac Mizrahi. Lauren was the first woman to sing on stage in front of men and women in Saudi Arabia and has performed at venues including Radio City Music Hall, the Burj Khalifa, the Kremlin, Carnegie Hall, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. As the winner of Ed McMahon’s Star Search and Andrea Bocelli’s World Scholarship, Lauren was also featured in People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People and was profiled in Teen Magazine for her Star Search win. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, Lauren is a self-professed chocoholic who loves cooking and baking, which comes as no surprise having grown up with an Italian father with whom she spent many hours in the kitchen. Throughout her world travels, she is always on the lookout for the best food each city has to offer - even if the "must-try foods" include scorpions and crickets! Her solo album, Wildest Dreams, can be purchased on iTunes or through her website, www.laurenjelencovich.com
